Change of plans for tomorrow! 9/23

Hi Folks,

We just received an email that the meet tomorrow is canceled. Due to the rain this week they do not feel safe hosting the meet on the course.

HOWEVER, since everything is planned out, scheduled and we only have 4 races in our season, we are still going to head to Delta tomorrow for an independent team time trial/practice. We will go to the Confluence course which we will run next week and for Regionals.

Same leave times and pickups (6:45 depart school, 7:00 depart Placerville).

We should be back by 2:30-3:00pm. We will be stopping for lunch in Montrose around 12:00pm if anyone needs to connect with us there.

It will still be a really fun day, just no "official" racing. The team has been training hard this season and tomorrow will be a huge benefit to next week's race.

Since this will be a practice, NO UNIFORMS. They should all bring their normal practice running clothes.

They still need water, snacks, lunch/$, some money in case there is an ice cream stop 😉.

If your kiddo decides that they would rather stay at school tomorrow, please send me a text this evening and I can remove them from the roster. (970) 708-7746

See you in the AM!
