Hello all. Wow, what a weekend. We had so much fun at the games Saturday. All the girls played so well and it was only our first game! Unfortunately, we do not have a game this week. It will give us extra time to work hard in practice and improve, so we are ready the next week against Norwood!

Hello all. Thank you to all who came to the parent meeting today. It was nice to meet all of you finally in person. A few updates for the game this Saturday:

• All athletes regardless of team need to be there at 10:15. C team should be dressed in uniform and ready to go.
• The first game, C team, is scheduled to start at 11:00.
• The school provides uniform tops, but the kids need to wear black shorts or spandex from home for the games. 
• We strongly encourage all the athletes to stay until the last A game is done. It is a great learning experience for the younger kids to watch the older kids and the athletes on the court really benefit from the cheering.  And of course team spirit!

Below are the volunteers I have so far:

• Score Book all games - Nicki
• Line Judges for C game - Caryn B and Emily B. Please be there by 10:40.
• Line Judges for B game - Jill O and Martha S. Please be there by 11:40.
• Line Judges for A game - Ali S and ________. Please be there by 12:30

Hello all! We had a great week this week. Starting today, I will be sending out weekly updates.  I will also post them on the website:  www.tellurideathletics.com. Please visit the site regularly for updates and game information. 

Practice - The practice schedule for this week for 7th and 8th graders is M-F 3:30-5:30. 6th graders will be M-Th 3:30 - 5:00. Please let me know in advance if your child won’t be at practice or will be late. 

Game & Volunteers Needed - Our first game is this coming Saturday at home against Dove Creek! The first game is scheduled to start at 11:00. The C team plays first, followed by the B team, and then A team. The games usually last between 45 minutes and an hour. I will be announcing teams on Wednesday. Parents, I do need volunteers! Below is the volunteer list of positions I need filled. Please let me know if you can volunteer! We cannot host the games without your help. No experience is needed and it is actually really fun to be part of the action.

Parent Meeting Monday @ 5:30 - A reminder that we have a mandatory parent meeting Monday at 5:30 at the TIS playground. If you cannot make it, please let me know so we can schedule a time to get together. Included is the Parent Information Packet. Please read through before the meeting.
