Carlo Pine, thanks to a T3 finish at regionals, has qualified to go to State!

Practice is canceled for Tuesday 9/11. There is a tournament on Wednesday.

Practice will resume on Thursday.

We will leave the school at 6:45 on Monday morning to go the Hillcrest (Durango) tournament. Meet in front of the school.

The Miners finished 2nd overall in the Cedaredge tournament!! Carlo Pine was 1st overall for individuals. All players contributed and are improving on their scores.

Next tournament is Monday in Durango. Go Miners!!

We will leave at 7:45 from the front of the school. 5 students can go. This will be determined after Wednesday's practice. Trying to take a couple of students who haven't played in a tournament yet.

There isn't practice on Monday.

There will be practice Tuesday through Friday. We will meet at the driving range at 4:30 each day.

We will meet and leave at the front of the school at 5:15.

As of this writing we have 3 players going and can take a couple more. Contact Coach Arenson if interested.

Our next meet is Monday 8-20 at Battlement Mesa GC in Parachute. We will leave the school at 5:15am.
Meet starts at 9:00 but it is around a 3 hour drive and we want to be there with enough time to warm up.
 

Practice will start Tuesday 8-14. It will run all week at 4:30. We will be at the Telluride Golf Club. 

Carlo finished in 1st place at the Cortez Tournament! A great start to the season for Carlo and the team!!

Cortez will be Thursday 8/9. We will leave at 6:00am.

If you are interested in playing in this tournament,, we can take up to 7 players. We are only at 4 right now. Contact me if you want to join. This is a great chance for anyone who wants to be in a tournament to be in one.

There will be a team meeting for players and parents on Monday 8/6 at 5:30 at the High School in the cafeteria. 

Rest of the week is different as the Golf Club at Telluride has a Club Championship Monday through Wednesday. 

Tuesday/Wednesday: Practice rounds. Each player gets one round on one of the two days. We will leave at 11:00am. Practice is at Conquistador in Cortez. We won't be back until about 7:00 so we can get some dinner before we go.

Thursday: 7 players at tournament in Cortez at Conquistador. Will need a player to bring drink/health snack.

Friday: 5 players at tournament in Delta and Devil's Thumb; we will leave the school early. 6:00am as tournament starts at 9:00am. Need a player to bring drink/healthy snack. We will stop for breakfast on the way up or in Delta so please bring money. 

There will be a team meeting at Telluride High School in the cafeteria on Monday the 6th of August at 5:30 pm. 

If the location changes,then I will notify everyone via email.

Golf season starts on August 6th. Make sure to have your physicals' up to date!
