Hello again-The golf club is letting us start practice ½ hour earlier this week (clean and pick is the same time)>Of course, for the first wave, it depends on members taking later tee times, but we will see and try to get out as soon as possible. This way, we can also do 4 holes for tryouts.
If you can help score, then let me know. So far, only 1 volunteer for the 4:45 group. Maybe the kids don't want to try out? Otherwise, I need 2 more volunteers. Thanks.

Hello all again: Trying to streamline things so hopefully this is easier to understand.
                           For all practice holes this week, players can choose 3 or 4 holes. Pick up areas are the same. Wave A is the early group this week.
Monday 8/31-NO PRACTICE; there is a tournament in Grand Junction.
Tuesday 9/1-Wave A starts at 5:15. Please, be in the parking lot at 5:10.
                        Wave B starts at 6:15. Please, be in the parking lot at 6:10
Wednesday 9/2: Wave A group2-Clean/Pick be at the parking lot at 3:55 (Same group that Cleaned/Picked on Wednesday 8/19)
                               Wave A group1-Be at the parking lot at 5:10

Practice for the week of 8/24 at Telluride GC: We will have practice on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Thursday is a day off.
This week on Monday and Tuesday: Players can use the practice holes for a cumulative 8 hole try out (4 Holes each day-You must be there both days to try out). The results of this try out are for our next 3 tournaments. Top 4 go to all tournaments. Next 3 can go to 1 tournament each.
There will be one more tryout in the middle of September for definitely the Regional Tournament and possibly the JV tournament.
All players will need to meet, at their time, in the parking lot for CoVid Screening. They will need to wear a mask until they tee off for practice holes. If they don’t want to do practice holes, then they can be picked up in the parking lot. Masks must be worn at all locations during practice.
We switch start times for waves: This week Wave B will be at the golf club at 5:10. Wave A will be there at 6:10.

Wave B: Your wave gets to do the Clean and Pick at the driving range. We need to do the clean and pick. I split this into two groups. On Monday Group 1 will meet at the driving range at 3:55 and clean/pick the range. Your reward is that when done, you can start practice. On Wednesday Group 2 will meet at the driving range at 3:55 and clean pick the range, then you get to start practice early. If you can’t make the Clean and Pick or Practice, then please let me know. Practice is now mandatory, so you need to show up or let me know your reason before practice starts. Thanks.

It was great to meet the players or see them again. After a week in which we witnessed Emmett Murphy ACE the 8th hole at Divide Ranch, played in our first two tournaments and were able to complete tryouts, the saga continues. For practices at Divide Ranch, we will use the range and then play 9 holes-no tryouts. I will be able to work with players.
