Telluride Boys Varsity Soccer won their first game of the season when they played Alamosa on their home turf Friday, August 25th Telluride had the first goal of the game in minute 7' when Finn Bailis passed a great ball creating a fast break for Ian Enkema who had a fantastic shot to the far corner, beating the Alamosa goalie. Finn scored the second goal of the game in minute 30' when he cleaned up a 50|50 ball at the 6 yard line. Finn and Ian connected again for the 3rd and final goal of the game in minute 43'. Finn kept the ball in play at the end line, passing to Ian who lofted the ball brilliantly to the back corner of Alamosa's goal. Tommy Wells had a great night in goal and only allowed 1 goal with many saves on the afternoon. All varsity players saw playing time and had an opportunity to be apart of the first win of the season. Final score: Telluride 3, Alamosa 1
